@Benzband: Hello! I tried to explain this to you on your page. The oligarch is a person who has a lot of capital, the origin of which is difficult to clarify, owns a media business and directly or indirectly affects the current government. Information, which said that this man - an oligarch in open sources is missing. Therefore, I consider this "title" to be erroneous in the application to the hero of the article (The term "business oligarch"[1] is almost a synonym of the term "business magnate" from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_oligarch) in the list of Ukrainian oligarchs Taruta is absent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_oligarchs Thank you

I see you posted to Dammitkevin's talk page (which is not my page, and I am not User:Dammitkevin), claiming to have studied the sources and come to the conclusion they are incorrect. That is your own analysis. The article cannot state Taruta is "mistakenly named", unless there is a source which says that he is mistakenly named (by such and such).

On the other hand, we have The Guardian, The Financial Times and VICE for instance describing Taruta as an oligarch. Let's also note that he acquired wealth in a post-Soviet state in the 1990s and is part of a small group holding power in a state.

Additionally the fact that Taruta doesn't appear on the page Ukrainian oligarchs isn't an indicator. The section in that page only lists what it calls "notable oligarchs", and not necessary exhaustively.

Finally, as Dammitkevin said to you, you can take the issue to the talk page to discuss instead of simply removing stuff. — benzband (talk) 15:22, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Benzband:Okay! Only for the purity of this discussion, please, how do you feel about the fact that, for example, in an article about Russian oligarchs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_oligarh there is (random choice) Vladimir Potanin, but on the page https: // en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Potanin we see "is a Russian billionaire and entrepreneur". Where is the standard? Why are you so insistent on this word. There are also different opinions from different respected sources. Thank you

If you scrolled through it, the Vladimir Potanin article did link to the Russian oligarchs article. However I've now made it clearer with an edit adding the term to the lead (with a reference).

As a side note, I wouldn't call Taruta "the hero of the article", he's the subject.

I'm sorry, but StrategEast Westernization Index 2018 has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. Hello, Igor Martyniuk. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia. I'm sorry, but StrategEast Westernization Index 2018 has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G12. Wikipedia is the world's largest free content encyclopedia. As such, it cannot contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content must be completely rewritten and reformatted from scratch. Content published elsewhere copied into Wikipedia must state that it is public domain, licensed under the GFDL, or a creative commons license. Cheers, and happy editing.
