I'm declining the username report of Tgif40 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) because it's possible that "TGIF" could refer to something other than the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant chain. The user might simply be referring to "Thank {Goodness|God} it's Friday" as a generic expression. In any case, I don't see any disruptive edits from the user (or really any edits at all). If the situation changes, of course, feel free to submit another report at WP:UAA. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 18:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Reversion

I think you assumed I'm new, which I am in a way, because I haven't been on wikipedia for months.

A further explanation can now be read on my userpage. --Kannie 19:34, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, but thanks for explaining anyway. --Kannie 19:35, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Moving

Can you tell me how to move a page? I've never before. Thanks. --Kannie 19:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Actually, I don't see the move tab anywhere, but I did request speedy deletion. --Kannie 20:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
That would be appreciated. Thanks! --Kannie 20:09, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
I didn't know I had to delete my talk page, too. That was a bit of surprise! But I'll just assume good faith and thank you again. I really do appreciate it. --Kannie 20:19, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh! I misunderstood you? Sorry about that. You can tell I'm a bit rusty, but I can see where that would make sense. --Kannie 20:30, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you! --Kannie 22:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Archive

How can I archive my talkpage? --Kannie 22:43, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

For future reference, I hardly update my status, so it always says I'm online. [[Animum | talk]] 22:47, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. I figured I'd prod in case someone wanted to add references, but if you think a redirect is better, I'll go along with that. Cheers, --Bfigura (talk) 04:38, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia has a new administrator!

Thanks, Archive 2!
Thank you for voicing your opinion in my RfA, which passed today with a unanimous 79/0/0 tally. It feels great to be appreciated, and I will try my best to meet everyone's expectations. If you have any advice or tips, feel free to pass them along, as I am sure that I will need them! Cheers, hmwith talk 21:44, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

User stauts

You know how you have that {{User:Ignatzmice/Status}} thingy that tells if you're online or not? How do I get that on my page? Also, sorry about the thing a long time ago (not really long; a few months) about the huge WP logo? (check the archive of your talk page if you forgot) Sorry I overreacted. Not that it really matters now; I just didn't want to leave the issue unclosed. Powerfulmindtalkedits 20:34, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, now it's definitely closed. :) Powerfulmindtalkedits 20:38, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
About the status thingy...Does it update automatically? If not, I don't want to change it every single time I'm online. I also didn't think that you'd respond so quickly. Either way, if it's not automatic, I don't want it. I don't need any more stress than I already have (with school, homework, etc.; if you didn't already know, I'm in 8th grade, which is kind of hard) Powerfulmindtalkedits 20:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Could that response get any quicker? Powerfulmindtalkedits 20:58, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Every single time I click on a new internal link it says "You have new messages." I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, but could you try to respond a little slower? :] Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:02, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
That's not what I meant...:{ I didn't mean for you to speak slower, i was just asking you to add more time between your comments. IIIIiiii diiiidnnnnn'ttttt meeeeaaaann fooooorrrrr yoooouuuu tooooo sloooooowww dooowwwwnnn tiiiimmmmeeee. It's kinda frustrating to see a box that pops up and says "You have new messages." I actually opened up a new tab that has my talk page open and I'll just refresh it every few minutes. I'm not insulting you either, so don't take this the wrong way. Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
This is turning out to be a weird discussion. Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:15, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
I never asked you to "shut your mouth". I was just saying that the joke is long ruined, and this discussion is now pointless. Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:21, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Okay, now I'm just playing around. I'm trying to be lively. Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:24, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

OK then...now you're silent. I will be too... ... ... ... .. .. .. .. .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . Powerfulmindtalkedits 21:56, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Adopt me

Could you please adopt me? i'm new and i don't know to much

Thanks

Fair use rationale for Image:DSTorch.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:DSTorch.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. help

I'm putting together a fairly comprehensive entry on American composer, Meyer Kupferman. I am listing all of his compositions, of which there are over 500. In addition, I'd like to cross reference them by instrument, so that a violinist, for example, could find everything that he wrote for violin. As it stands now, this creates a cumbersomely long list, since many works will appear several times. A piece for violin, flute, cello, and guitar would appear 4 times, for example. Is it possible for me to create hidden pages that could be accessed via link, while allowing for a complete list on the main page? This way, a violinist could simply click a link and get a list of all pieces with violin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rguitphil (talkcontribs) 14:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

My recent RfA

I am sorry that you felt it necessary not to support my RfA at this time. I am also sorry to see that you have editcountitis. As you probably know, my RfA did not succeed. I will attempt to get some more experience and more edits before applying again in two month's time. I hope I will have allayed your concerns by then, but if not, feel free to comment the way you feel you should. Thank you for participating in my RfA. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 18:23, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Rhinoceros Tap book cover 2004.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Rhinoceros Tap book cover 2004.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:54, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Akai S3000XL

hi th information in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akai_S3000XL is incorect .. i have mutch expreance in working with akai samplers both in studio and upgrading under the hood ect =/ iv recived the below mesage stating "one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Akai S3000XL, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed"

this is areal shame because no sources of the information are given

eg the curent akais3000xl wiki states the spesifications: "Memory: 8MB (32MB upgrade option)" sadly the web.archive(see below link) of www.akai.com/akaipro states "Standard Memory: 2MB" Feb 15, 1997-web.archive.org

my-edits as u can see the changes that have been made are refrenced, and the links wher also added . im finding it hard to understand the mind set of who ever decided this "did not appear to be constructive " its far more constructive than mis information

douse the wiki recognise the value of the http://web.archive.org/ for refrencing old tech spesifcations my self i find it an unbeatable resource !

iv now registered at the wiki hopfully the wiki may continue to grow not become a source stagnant misinformation thanx

Question about User page

On the top of your user page you have a message that kind of infers that you dislike president bush. Your userboxes say that you support "Dubya" aka. President Bush. Any comments on that?Gunnerdevil4 (talk) 05:36, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
