Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Somali Canadians, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Meters (talk) 08:00, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Ifixeverythingrt! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Meters (talk) 08:07, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Law, government, and crime in Winnipeg, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Meters (talk) 22:00, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And again, changing the meaning of a sentence is not minor. Meters (talk) 22:01, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Crime in Toronto, you may be blocked from editing. Meters (talk) 22:11, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And please stop adding your commentary about the the Economist's ranking. It was already undone once. Per WP:BRD you should discuss the material on the article's talk page rather than restoring it. Meters (talk) 22:14, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Crime in Toronto

[edit]

Hi, can we please discuss your revert in the article Crime in Toronto on its discussion page, I added a new topic here. Please note that we would like to have consistent reporting from official sources whenever possible, but I am happy to discuss what sources we should use for the table. --hroest 15:06, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for contributing to the article Law, government, and crime in Winnipeg. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:40, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

October 2024

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Toronto slang. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:23, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What was the issue with what I added? Ifixeverythingrt (talk) 23:54, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
