Hi, I have a problem with sources. My subject is not well known and no site is talking about stock briefs. However, if you type in google "stock briefs" you will find a lot of ads and websites selling this product. If you look at the photos of the female athletes of the 2024 olympic games in the running competitions, a lot of them are wearing it. Is that possible to only use a site selling the product as a source since no other site is talking about it ? Idemcrypte (talk) 19:52, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It does appear a lot of sites use the term "stock briefs" but not all of them even look the same or appear to be talking about the same thing. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a dictionary so if the term is not well defined and talk about it would not be acceptable for an article. Even after googling it it's unclear they are a defined thing. Your only source at the moment is someone selling a product called "Nike Stock Brief" which does not show it is a recognised term.
