Displacement
[edit]See Royal Navy: "When fully stored HMS Astute displaces 7800 tonnes of sea water (equivalent to 65 Blue Whales or nearly 1,000 Double Decker buses);" Defence Procurement Agency: "Dived displacement 7800 tonnes;" BAE Systems: "7800 tonnes submerged;" Defence iQ: "displacement of 7,800 tons submerged;" Naval Technology: "Displacement 7,800t (dived)." - See: [1] [2] [3] I'm afraid 7,800 tonnes was a number put out by BAE in error at the time of her launch - they quietly changed to 7,400 tonnes afterwards. Any pages showing 7800 tonnes are drawing from old information (pre-October 2007); I admit their efforts to remove references to the larger incorrect number have not been completely successful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ic451uk (talk • contribs) 21:53, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- OK, let's not get into an edit war then, I'll WP:AGF and we'll go with 7,400 on the likelihood that the information is outdated. Let me self-revert my edits to the submarine pages so that you don't show as making another set of reversions. GwenChan 21:56, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Reverted those changes. Thanks for providing the references above. GwenChan 22:05, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks - if you google astute 7400 site:baesystems.com, you'll find that BAE haven't put out anything saying 7,800 tonnes since launch - it's all been 7,400 tonnes. Ic451uk (talk) 22:17, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

naga viper
[edit]i would like to know who has the authority to call the cnaga viper unstable?--Chilliarbitor (talk) 22:20, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
I know nothing about breeding chilli peppers, so it's not me. I suggest you make this point on the discussion page. I'll put the link to Guinness back in, as the Independent article only gives an approximate SHU value. Ic451uk (talk) 23:32, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
