Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. MacAddct1984 (talk • contribs) 15:44, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Ibrahimk87 alwahda qose-7beb.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ibrahimk87 alwahda qose-7beb.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:51, 12 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:51, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Omar Khaleil
[edit]A tag has been placed on Omar Khaleil requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Welcome
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia, Ibrahimk87. I noticed you have been working on improving Wikipedia's coverage of football in the Middle East. While I appreciate your efforts, I wanted to let you know that new articles on living people (such as Omar Khaleil) must be referenced, or they will be deleted. If you are able to create infoboxes with the player's career information, you probably used some source (such as goalzz.com, national-football-teams.com or fifa.com) for the data. Please be sure to add at least one reference to each article you create. Also, it is very helpful to create a lead sentence (or sentences) which explain that the person is a footballer and what level of football they have played (club or international level). Finally, it is helpful to add categories to the article so other editors can find it more easily. Please look at how I added them to Khaleil's article. Please let me know if you have any questions or need help. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 20:00, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hello again. You are still creating unreferenced articles about living people. Please add at least one reference to each new article you create. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 23:12, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Ibrahimk87! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 8 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 168 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
