Israel on Scouting maps
[edit]Hi there. I believe that Hitachdut Hatsofim Ve Hatsofot Be Israel (the Israeli joint scouting / guiding organisation) is a member of the European regions for the WOSM and WAGGGS (according to European Region and WAGGS-Europe Region). On your maps [2] and [3] Israel is coloured grey but I believe it should be blue as per Europe. There's also [4] and [5] which, if they covered a bigger area, should also show Israel on them. Don't know how easy it is for you to change this if you still have the original copies of the maps but if it's not too much work then that would be great. Keep up all your work on Scouting! All the best. Iancaddy 14:21, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I was using a friend's Photoshop, I don't have ready access to it, but since the maps have been downloaded to the Wikipedia, they are open for anyone to edit. Maybe you can find someone with graphics-manipulation programs. Chris 01:28, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Georgia article status
[edit]I've started to feel that there will be more and more evidence that Georgia (country) will be moved to Georgia soon. Now it is ahead by no fewer than 6 votes. Georgia guy 21:35, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
"- and is not widely known or understood by the Chechens themselves". Of course it is nonsense. Nearly everybody in chechnya knows russian. It was taught in all schools until the dissolution of the Soviet Union for sure and most probably even longer. This is 21st century. They live in mountains, but they don't line in caves or jungles, if you know what I mean. `'mikka (t) 15:13, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
