This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Equal and Opposite (Private Practice), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: A Family Thing (Private Practice). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. AfD nomination of Hollywood marriage

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Hollywood marriage. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hollywood marriage. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:23, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to The Skeptic (film). Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Iamnotregistered! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Kathryne Dora Brown - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 22:50, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Michael Patrick Thornton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:57, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Michael Patrick Thornton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Decline speedy-- asserts significance. However, I'm not convinced this actor meets notability requirements.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dlohcierekim 02:22, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Fassbender's nationality

[edit]

Hi Iamnotregistered.

The issue of Michael Fassbender's nationality certainly is a little awkward. I have absolutely no problem with him being described as German-Irish if that is, in fact, what he is. However, both of the relevant references that feature in the article still state that he is a German-born Irish actor. Can you find any interview, article, etc. which support your claim?

Cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ossici (talkcontribs) 00:30, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ossici.

Michael Fassbender's heritage was stated in several articles/interviews. In the first source referenced in article later on is stated: "Fassbender endured "plenty of slagging" over his German roots although Killarney was still "a great place to grow up as a kid."

Excerpt from another interview: "this son of an Irish mother and a German father — he was born in Heidelberg and German is his first language" link: http://mfmultiply.forumotion.com/t1313-fassbender-the-hunger-is-gone-but-the-thirst-remains

Also here: "It's no surprise that Irish-German actor Michael Fassbender is being hailed as the hottest new star in Britain." and "The jovial Fassbender, whose father is German and who moved to Ireland as an infant..." link: http://www.smh.com.au/news/entertainment/film/the-art-of-suffering/2008/11/06/1225561021366.html

Maybe it's more an issue with interpretation of that particular wording, but for me German-born Irish suggests a person with no German roots, only born in Germany (e.g. because Irish parents used to live there for some time). Mr. Fassbender case is different: his parents are German (father) and Irish (mother). Of course maybe my interpretation of the meaning of that particular sentence "German born Irish" is wrong, but that's how I understand it. Iamnotregistered (talk) 15:33, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Underworld: Blood Wars does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Quasar G. Sebastian Fabijański moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sebastian Fabijański, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
