Only administrators can semi-protect pages. You can either convince me that it is required, or list your request at WP:RFPP and convince other admins that it is required. Either way, you basically have to be able to convince an administrator that the page is vandalized very often or that there are equivalent problems. It isn't a method to make sure that the page stays the way you like it. I don't see anything going on at Kidz Bop that would make me think it needs semi-protection.
