Purpose of the lead section

Please look at our guideline WP:LEAD. The lead section of any Wikipedia article should provide a brief overview of the body of the article, not introduce new facts that are not discussed anywhere else. You have been adding information about vegan suitability to the lead section of several articles. I am having to remove or move them.
