Removing maintenance templates

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. The Evil Spartan (talk) 05:00, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jeremi Richardson, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. --Blowdart | talk 13:49, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jeremi Richardson, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing. . Please stop removing templates unless you actually address the issues the templates mark. You should also read WP:Cite to understand what are acceptable citations. Quoting his own web site is not a good source. --Blowdart | talk 14:08, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've done a few edits on Jeremi Richardson to try to tidy it up, remove uncited claims, turn the citations into useful links and so on. A couple of things; a citation is more than just a link to a web site; it needs to be a specific page; which backs up claims. Fan sites, blogs etc. are not really valid citations. I would again encourage you to read WP:Cite to understand what is required when you add information to an article; if you do not provide valid citations your edits may well be trimmed or removed. Also please look at how I did the citations; you can see now there's a nice reference list at the end of the page, which lists all the citations, with their titles etc. Please try to cite in the manner I have; the list will be automatically updated. --Blowdart | talk 09:02, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You will need to add license information, or it will be deleted. Apteva (talk) 01:22, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lee University Campus Choir has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails to assert notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
