I've removed the {{db-bio}} tag; the article does assert the notability of the subject. Please note however that when editing, you must bear in mind the policy regarding Neutral Point Of View. Also, since the conductor is now deceased, the article should be in the past tense (not "Odisseas Dimitriadis (1909 - 2005) is...", but "Odisseas Dimitriadis (1909 - 2005) was...). You also need to remove statements that appear to be your own point of vew, such as "one of the greatest", unless reliable sources report him as "one of the greatest" (in which case please give a reference to the source you are quoting)

These will be useful:

If you have any questions, please give me a shout on my talkpage - I may be unavailable until 26th December though (Christmas and all that!). Regards Tonywalton  | Talk 23:57, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Ruthann cover front.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ruthann cover front.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 11:20, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here I am

[edit]

I added infobox musician template to Ruth-Ann_Boyle, but I think it needs a revision. Hope you apply any changes if necessary.‍‍Dreamfallmch 00:32, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Music Detected album cover.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello ILIAS! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 179 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Claus Zundel - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 15:58, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Claus Zundel has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
