I am not sure why my page, which was deleted once, and (after reviewing the pages of some fellow oilfield companies and trying to modify it to be similar to theirs) has been deleted again. I thought I was a bit more careful in my wording and formatting the second time around. If someone could take a look at the deleted articles, compare them with one from Calfrac, or Trican, and maybe provide me with some suggestions on how to go about making Iron Horse Energy Services a page in Wikipedia, it would be greatly appreciated, as I have never used this site before. Any suggestions would help me out, because obviously even after re-reading the rules I cannot get my article approved. Thank you. (IHESOffice (talk) 03:59, 3 October 2008 (UTC))

You asked for tips?
[edit]Thanks for your query. I know this will be a bit of a disappointment, but the first and foremost one that I can give you is to not write an article about your own company. You said you understand the rules, well, I'd suggest that you read out Conflict of interest guidelines. People connected with companies are very strongly expected to recuse themselves - in fact, folks who ignore this often get their editing privileges revoked. You are, of course, more than welcome to edit articles not related to your own company. Beyond that, the overarching policy that an article on your company would have to meet is WP:CORP. Wikipedia is not a directory of companies, but rather it is an encyclopedia. Encyclopedic notability is not something that every company can rise to. I hope that helps.
