Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account from editing. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Alexf(talk) 09:50, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Decline reason:

Yes, we know- organization names are not permitted as usernames, because accounts are for specific individuals only, not organizations. You may either propose a new, individualistic username to rename this account to, or create a new individual account for yourself- either way, your account must be exclusively used by you and you alone, no one else. Whichever happens, after that you will need to read about conflict of interest and paid editing. 331dot (talk) 10:09, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Account blocked due to username policy IGB International School (IGBIS) (talk) 03:04, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account and will remove the block. Before you edit further, you must read conflict of interest and paid editing and make the required disclosure(note that "paid editing" includes any paid relationship like employment, and is not limited to specific payment for edits). 331dot (talk) 08:43, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please be sure to place new postings on talk pages at the bottom of the page. This is necessary to keep the discussion in the correct chronological order. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 06:15, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Mark at IGBIS, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mark at IGBIS|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 08:43, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 331dot (talk) 09:14, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not interested in what your school says about itself- any article about your school must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage choose on their own to say about it, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. Please read Your First Article if you still wish to attempt to write about your school- though we advise against this. 331dot (talk) 08:45, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
