You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Help me!

[edit]

What the profit for Volunteer in Wikipedia? Can I get some earnings in wiki to create article?

IEIWith (talk) 22:54, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We are all volunteers; none of us get paid to edit Wikipedia. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 23:00, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not exactly true. If you are planning on becoming a steward then you do get paid. But before that, you are just a volunteer. From as far as I remember there are jobs for which you can get paid by Wikimedia Foundation, but you don't get paid for writing articles here. Sorry.--Biografer (talk) 02:14, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
