User talk:I64s/Archive 8
This is an archive of my talk page. Please do NOT post any new messages here. Instead, post it at my main talk page. Thanks. Take a break[edit]Saw your note at Esperanza and I agree that you could do with a break. Your grades are way more important than anything here and if you feeling this has become a battlezone for you then it's even more important you shift perspective for a while. Hopefully you'll come back soon refreshed and with your academic work under control - take care. Sophia 10:30, 5 July 2006 (UTC) Terence, I double that. School comes first but it will be nice to see you around one day. Good luck! --Tone 12:03, 5 July 2006 (UTC) I blame the SG meetup ;). Many of the attendees are dropping like flies with respect to Wikipedia. Take a break and come back. Cheers, NoSeptember 12:47, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes, education is much more important than Wikipedia, so I wish you all the best in this cause. I hope when things have stablized that you pop back.Blnguyen | rant-line 02:20, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
OH![edit]Terence, don't leave. You have been a great help to all of us. Return if you must. All the best. I hope you can support me in my next Rfa. See you.--Tdxiang 10:36, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
I hope all goes well in real life - but do come back, you would be sorely missed if you did not! -- Natalya 03:12, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Terence![edit]Hi there. I would like to thank you very much for your vote in the Esperanza Elections, your trust in me was appreciated and I hope I will be able to live up to your expectations. I hope your stress is going down, and that this message finds you well. Thanks again! Regards -- Banes 09:57, 10 July 2006 (UTC) Esperanza Elections[edit]
Terence Ong
Thank you for your vote in the Esperanza Elections. Your support is much appreciated, and it means that I am now in the Council. I will continue to try my best, and if you have any questions or queries, please don't hesistate to leave me a message. Thanks again, — FireFox 15:32, 10 July '06 Smart decision but we'll miss you[edit]I very much respect your decision and I believe it's a good one; there are more important things than Wikipedia. Don't look back! At the same time, just be aware that you leave with the best wishes, respect and appreciation of many Wikipedians, including some of us you don't know (but know you by your work) Good luck and Godspeed. --A. B. 20:34, 10 July 2006 (UTC) Many thanks, and some more well wishes[edit]Thanks for your support in the Esperanza Elections, Terence, even if you are on your way to heading off. I appreciate your confidence, and hope that all goes well in your busy life, and that we may see you back here at some point. -- Natalya 01:44, 11 July 2006 (UTC) Signpost updated for July 10th[edit]

Muang in Thai is ม่วง, while Mueang is เมือง. Both are clearly differently pronounced. The Thai romanization is a pain, but we here try to use the Royal Thai General System of Transcription, which has its shortcomings but is better than using a random system like by number of Google hits for the various spellings... andy 14:32, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

I ever did properly thank you for your vote of support in the Esperanza elections. It meant a lot to me that you had the confidence in me to vote support. Next time around maybe both you and I will get the oppertunity to represent Esperanza in a more offical way ;) Anyway, I really hope that everything's going okay for you, and that you're not wieghed down by real life events. Yours, Thε Halo Θ 10:48, 18 July 2006 (UTC) Thank you for supporting me, Terence Ong![edit]

Unfortunately, the request did not pass, with a vote of (43/16/7). But your support was appreciated and I'll just keep right on doing what I do. Maybe I'll see ya around -- I'll be here!
Cheers! - CheNuevara 17:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC) my RfA[edit] Thanks for your support opinion on my RfA. With a final vote of (62/0/1), my RfA passed, and I am now an Administrator. I will work hard to ensure that the tools entrusted to me will not be abused, and will wield my mop proudly.
Happy editing! --Firsfron of Ronchester 23:40, 28 July 2006 (UTC) Thanks from Yanksox[edit]

Request for Adminship
Thank you for contributing to my my request for adminship. Although I wasn't promoted to admin status, with a withdrawn vote count of 14/27/14, I am very happy with the response I received from my fellow Wikipedians. I was pleasantly suprised at the support, and was touched by it. I will also work harder on preventing disputes and keeping cool under stress. Hopefully I will re-apply soon and try again for the mop. Thanks again, Highway Return to Oz... 13:33, 29 July 2006 (UTC) Wickethewok's RFA[edit]

Ralbot 03:29, 1 August 2006 (UTC) My RfA[edit]Thankyou for your participation in my RfA. Due to an almost even spread of votes between Oppose and Support (Final (16/13/6)) I have decided to withdraw for now and re-apply in a couple of months as suggested. I thank everyone for their kind support of my editorial skills; it meant a lot to me to get such strong recommendations from my fellow editors. If you ever have any hints as to how I can improve further, I would love to hear from you. ViridaeTalk 15:24, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that you previously commented in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Robert Young, so I wanted to draw your attention to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert Young (naturopath). Thanks! Take a break. I took a few months off and did very little editing. After coming back, I felt inspired again...much like I was when I first started editing. PS: I took the speedy notice off of your user page :P
RE:Wikimania 2007[edit]First of all, I would like to thank you for letting me know about this. However, I feel that Singapore is not ready yet to host Wikimania. One of the main reasons is the relative low number of Singaporeans involved in this project (correct me if I am wrong). Secondly, the minimum number of participation must be 300. I feel that Singapore would have a problem reaching this target. However, this does not mean that I would not support future bids for this country. I hope that you can understand this. Secondly, I am very busy with work currently and I remain sceptical about the ability to attend such an important event. Moreover, the lack of exposure about Wikipedia in the local newspapers leaves much to be desired. Hope you understand. --Siva1979Talk to me 17:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Wangi/RFA[edit]Thanks for your support on my RfA. Give me shout if I can be of help. Thanks/wangi 00:20, 19 August 2006 (UTC) Hey Terence! On Kpjas' RFA, you have voted neutral based on his apparent lack of experience ("Your stay here has been long, but try to have more edits in the WP and user talk namespace, and I can support you the next time"). In fact, Kpjas is already an admin on the Polish Wikipedia, and has 37,000 edits there, including 2,600 to WP space over there. You have voted neutral based on inexperience, but these facts clearly indicate plenty of experience in the required areas. Terence, you want an experienced editor for admin. Kpjas is clearly experienced. Without badgering you (or trying not to, at least), I urge you to reconsider your vote in this particular RfA. Happy editing! :) --Firsfron of Ronchester 01:49, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Also, based on your reason for deleting, you might want to check out National Labor Relations Act.
