A tag has been placed on Spectio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This appears to be a text dump from a public domain (copyright expired) work. It is not written in an encyclopedic manner, and would require a total rewrite to make it conform to Wikipedia policies.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 03:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spectio

[edit]

The problem appears to be that you have merely copied-and-pasted from an old article and/or book (no copyright problems, as it is way past the 75-year limit), and done little else. If this is a subject with which your familiarity is limited, it may be best to have someone else write the article. Until then, about the only thing you can do is to put both an {{underconstruction}} and a {{expert}} tag at the top of the article, and hope someone comes along to help. I can't even figure out what the heck it is about, but that's nothing new. :-) Realkyhick 04:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
