Thanks for uploading File:Al crest001.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You cannot license a picture to Wikipedia that is based on a copyrighted image. In spite of the changes which you made to Mr. Khan, the base picture does not belong to you. In United States copyright law, the image that results from such work is a called a "derivative work", and in spite of your changes the original copyright holder still must release the image. This has been deleted as a copyright infringement. Please review our copyright policy if you have any questions. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:59, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, File:Pooum 01.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from movies.sulekha.com. As a copyright violation, File:Pooum 01.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. File:Pooum 01.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at File talk:Pooum 01.jpg and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at File talk:Pooum 01.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on File talk:Pooum 01.jpg.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Jay (talk) 07:03, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:02pous.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:02pous.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:02, 1 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:02, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hwijesurendra. Thank you for your work on Dick Attenborough. User:AngusWOOF, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Dick was never used as a nickname, see https://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/aug/24/richard-attenborough-death-sad-british-film-industry so I tagged this as incorrect name, still possible to search so i'm marking this but RFD can be held to remove later.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|AngusWOOF}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

A tag has been placed on Alison Swift requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. estar8806 (talk) 02:17, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
