Hurricane Irene and school closures
[edit]I am not disputing that many schools had to cancel classes for the hurricane. However, going to each school's Wikipedia article and adding that information is contrary to the policy that Wikipedia is not news. It would the equivalent of going to each school's aritcle and saying when the school was cancelled for snow days, etc. It's trivial information about the school.
Now, where it could be considered relevant is the the article about the hurricane itself. You can think about improving the content at Hurricane Irene (2011)#Precautions. If you are not an auto-confirmed user yet, and cannot edit a protected page, make an {{editrequest}}
on the article's talk page. Singularity42 (talk) 17:30, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Alright, thankyou. I added it back and I am doing major work on the page. Please do not delete it again. i will explain latter why it is notable.--HurricaneIrene2011 (talk) 17:46, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
