Mattawan Natives
[edit]What you have saw was an example of vandalism. The black side of Wikipedia been an open project that everybody can edit is that it is open to vandals. Fortunately nothing written in Wikipedia is completely deleted and there are much more good people than the bad ones. So the next time you see something like this just revert it to the latest nonvandalized version and warn him. If the warning does not help report him to WP:AIV and some admin would block him. Carolina Hurricanes Seasons...
[edit]I reverted your edits. WP:HOCKEY project has set a guideline to list only the last 5 seasons on the articles of each NHL Team. Other seasons are in another article. This was done to conserve space on the team articles. As you can see, the full season results for the Canes can be found in the article titled Carolina Hurricanes seasons. Thanks. - Feel free to do the full season on the 2007-08 article. The format will be changing sometime, just have not had time to work on it but adding the rest of the season won't hurt. I was going to do it using Excel to help my Wiki code, but won't have time for a few weeks. Go Canes! Pparazorback 04:23, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
2007-08 Season for Carolina Hurricanes
[edit]To find attendance Information quicker before they are available on the various sites (tsn.ca, espn.go.com, etc...) you can go here to pull up boxscores. The links for 'Rosters', 'Shots' and/or 'Event Summary' will show attendance about 10-15 minutes after the game ends.
As for your color codes, they are all on the table -- For wins, put bgcolor="ccffcc" on the line above the game, put bgcolor="ffbbbb" on the line above the game for the loss, and bgcolor="ccffcc", and bgcolor="#ffffff" for an OTL (Overtime Loss) or SO (Shoot-out loss). -Pparazorback (talk) 22:28, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Your name is listed on the project page for WP:HOCKEY. See the list Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Participant. --Pparazorback (talk) 20:59, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Edits to any article are open to any user. Feel free to make any edits to the Carolina page, or any other page for that matter. For me, it comes down to time able to do work, and if I have time to make an edit on the season page, or main page, or whereever, I would generally do it. Not one person has any control over any article on Wikipedia. Just remember, decision means Goaltender of record for the current team. There are instances when two or more goalies play in a game for the same team. Whichever goalie gets the win or loss is the one you list as the decision. --Pparazorback (talk) 02:34, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
My Work
[edit]2008–09 Carolina Hurricanes season
Ovechkin
[edit]Ovechkin does have a large ego, yes, he is one of the best players in the league. However, as you said, this is not a blog, so any attempts to convey your opinion on that subject is not allowed because this is an encyclopedia. And as a Hurricanes' fan, I was pulling for the Caps to bring the Cup back into the Southeastern Division. It appears that the page you wanted to be deleted was already deleted before I got your message. Take care. --Pparazorback (talk) 17:58, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis
[edit]Hi, there is an extremely long and muddled discussion going on at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found on tennis player articles (i.e. this type of table), and I'm notifying you as you identified yourself as a member of the project. The dispute is over the "Tournament Name" column, with the options being to either use the "sponsored tournament name" - in other words, the name involving the sponsor, for example Internazionali BNL d'Italia - or the "non-sponsored tournament name" - in other words, Rome Masters. I appreciate that this conversation is very long and convoluted, so a brief summary can be found here, which is also where I request the discussion continues. Thanks, rst20xx (talk) 23:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
