Adoption

Hello! I noticed you're seeking adoption, and I was wondering if you're still seeking adoption? DustiSPEAK!! 02:48, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll try to help where I can. I'm not really good with questions about copyright. The best place to ask for help there is at the Wikipedia:Media copyright questions desk. People that patrol that desk tend to know more about that than I do. If you have anything else you need help with, feel free to ask. --Jayron32 15:14, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed you asked the same question on Jza84's talk page. I'm no expert on this, but, as I understand it, unfortunately the phrase "...as long as money is not charged" makes it incompatible with Wikipedia & Wikimedia which allow commercial re-use. -- Dr Greg  talk  21:54, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wiipedia. It seems to me that you have added links to catholicrevelations.com to a few Wikipedia pages. To me these additions look like spam for they often come from Golden Legend. Please stop adding these links based on WP:Reliable. Thank you. History2007 (talk) 00:20, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that you don't readd that link, or else it might be added to the spam blacklist. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 01:34, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How is adding links from a huge work that compiles many books spam. Saying it seems like spam dont make it so. Watch the specific pages first before making statements please. PeaceHumilityisfine (talk) 00:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. DustiSPEAK!! 01:36, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This medievil sourcebook is a book composing several books in one. I am no spammer. Why don't you check the links I added instead of accusing me off linkspamming? How can these persons remove my work when I followed the wiki rules perfectly? Should I contact the wiki committe jury to resolve myself of these charges? I also linked to specific lives of saints which someone removed without any reason whatsoever? What is your reason for telling that I am a linkspammer? Please help!

OK, the book that you are linking to is available from many sources, and could be mentioned in a 'further reading' section by stating title etc. if it is deemed to be necessary. There is no need to link directly to the online text (on whichever server it is hosted, any choice is biased), and I therefore also regard your additions as spamming. If you would like consensus to include the links anyway, start a discussion first, but do not add any links yourself before there is consensus on inclusion. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:28, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your link-additions also have been mentioned here: Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Spam. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:30, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not one person complained over my additions before this history2007 started accusing me off linkspamming. If you check the pages yourself you will clearly see that every single page I linked to is what the specific wiki article is about. They call me a linkspammer but their evidence is, "it seems that he is a spammer." IT SEEMS? Is that how wiki works? Please check it yourself and help me. PeaceHumilityisfine (talk) 00:54, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there no need to link to texts about specific person's lives. Every single wiki is built this way. I also linked to other things not associated with The Golden Legend and you just removed it without any valid reason? PeaceHumilityisfine (talk) 01:23, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
