Your company
[edit]Your enthusiasm in attempting to remove the delete template from the top of your company's vanity article is understandable, but the appropriate way to claim that something should not be speedied is to discuss it on the talk page, not to pretend that the speedy header was never put there by removing it. Please do not remove the template again. Instead, please explain on the talk page why it is that the page is not a vanity page and should not be speedy deleted. --Pmetzger 04:41, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
It appears that your enthusiasm for placing your firm into Wikipedia extends to re-creating the page after it has been deleted. --Pmetzger 14:47, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Similarsites search.gif
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Similarsites search.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 04:53, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Similarsites.net
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Similarsites.net, by Seattlenow (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Similarsites.net is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Similarsites.net, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:27, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of SimilarSites, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.killerstartups.com/Search/similarsites--Find-Similar-Sites/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 14:45, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:SimilarSitesLogo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:SimilarSitesLogo.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:08, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Learnvisualstudio.net
[edit]A tag has been placed on Learnvisualstudio.net requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Paste Let’s have a chat. 16:19, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
