[edit]Please read this notification carefully:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions to curtail disruption related to systems of measurement in the United Kingdom. Before continuing to make edits that involve units or systems of measurement in United Kingdom-related contexts, please read the full description of these sanctions here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Repeated reverts
[edit]In relation to your ongoing reverts, I'd like to make you aware that the style described in the MOS doesn't generally give editors too much latitude to call things "fine" (whatever that means). Nor is there any provision that I am aware of for styles being appropriate for a certain era; this idea has been discussed on MOS talk and rejected in the past as being cumbersome and generally unworkable. The normal MOS standard is that an article about Australia will use the metric system first; the fact that one editor considers it "fine" to use a different style does not constitute a valid objection to this. I'm sure you understand this, but repeated reverts to a style which goes against consensus are likely to result in sanctions. Archon 2488 (talk) 14:41, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Ignore the user Johnuniq
[edit]Just ignore the user Johnuniq. He's a hypocritical wikipedia "volunteer" who supports whoever is in his circles. It doesn't matter how much you try to convince or explain anything to him.70.51.38.110 (talk) 21:52, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:20, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
