[edit]

You made an animated gif for the lenticular poster.

Could you do the same for the Spider-Man 3 poster? It would be these three images in this order: Image:Spider-man3-teaser allred.jpg, Image:Spidey3teaserposter.jpg,Image:Spider-man3-teaser allblack.jpg, and then Image:Spidey3teaserposter.jpg again.

Thanks. --DrBat 15:36, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you aka Pastorwayne?

[edit]

Dear HowardBerry,

I'd like to contact the author of the Wikipedia entry on Bishop Johann Wilhelm Ernst Sommer. Is that you? When I clicked on the author's (Pastorwayne) Talk page link I was referred to you. I would like to know the source for the reference to Bishop Sommer's World War II experiences.

Many thanks,

KML

WikiProject Steely Dan

[edit]

I know this could be considered spamming, but I couldn't help noticing that you have a Steely Dan userbox. I am trying to start a Steely Dan WikiProject and was just wondering if you were interested. Come to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#Steely_Dan to sign up and visit the WikiProject-to-be's temporary page here. NauticaShades

I recently bought the dvd box set up my favourite TV series 1960s Randall and Hopkrik and am developing a mini Wiki Project for articles on every epsidoes and new articles of the characters. My first episode is My Late Lamented Friend and Partner and I wil create a navigation box for Randall and Hopkirk with all 26 episodes and links to the actors and related things. Are you interested in helping me. I started the Category:Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) earlier. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:56, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Spider-Man 3 images

[edit]

Hello, I've uploaded two new Spider-Man 3 poster images, and was wondering if you might like to combine them into a lenticular image as you did before. I'm not sure how hard of a process this is for you, so if you're busy, I'll completely understand. Here are the two images I've uploaded on Wikipedia:

[1] and [2]

What I'm looking for is the backgrounds to stay the same, but the red and black Spider Mans to fade back and forth every two seconds or so (red/black, black/red, and so on). I believe both backgrounds are the same, but there may be some slight coloring differences with the storm clouds, lighting, etc. If you could spend some time on this, that would be awesome! But like I said, I don't want to infringe on other commitments you may have. Just let me know on my talk page. Thanks again. Veracious Rey talkcontribsreview 19:39, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:RandHDVDcover.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RandHDVDcover.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:ArthurClarkeAward.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ArthurClarkeAward.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 10:19, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have tagged Image:DennisBerry.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you.
