There is persistent vandalism, and false info, being posted on the Wikipedia page about YHA (which is a not for profit organisation) by a disgruntled “anonymous” poster who repeatedly posts the same “copy and paste” malicious text Hostelling101 (talk) 12:10, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Hostelling101 and a series of other short-term accounts which have been challenged as sock puppets, have been registered and then shown little or no activity other than to revert edits to the YHA Australia article and other YHA-related articles. These accounts have repeatedly edited the YHA Australia article to cite almost entirely YHA promotional material. The material removed by these accounts do not accord with the reasons given. The material which Hostelling101 has repeatedly removed claiming (above and in the edit summaries) that the material is "vandalism", "false", "incorrect" and "malicious" cite the registers of the Australian government's corporation regulator (the Australian Securities and Investments Commission), YHA Ltd's own constitution, YHA Ltd's own By-Laws, YHA Ltd's annual reports and a commercially published book by a long-term YHA member who is cited elsewhere in the article. Hostelling101 claims (above and in edits) that YHA is a not for profit organisation but that is a very ambiguous term to hide behind. Ultimately, the reasons given by Hostelling101 and the other suspected sock puppet accounts for their edits do not justify their changes. It is clear, in Hostelling101's statement above, that their concern about "persistent" and "repeatedly" posted material has been longer-term than the recent registration of the Hostelling101 account (evidence of serial sock puppetry) and that their real purpose has been to control the YHA Australia article and revert other edits so as to present only favourable in-house propaganda. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.129.111.230 (talk) 00:29, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
