- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

[edit]I re-merged Abaco Barb back into the Barb article, one is merely a subgroup of the other, the article was merged for this reason four years ago and there is no need to break it back out again. I will wait on Alter Real, and have put a merge tag on it so the issue can be more thoroughly discussed. However, in general, here on Wikipedia, we tend to not want a dozen poor quality stubs when one good article can be produced. Feel free to join WP:EQUINE and we'd be glad to help you get off to a good start with wikipedia edits. Montanabw(talk) 01:26, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

- Hello, I was curious where the text in this edit came from? The source for the potential copyvio cites Wikipedia as a source. I am trying to figure out where in Wikipedia it may have been taken from. See the article's report at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2011 June 18.--NortyNort (Holla) 03:14, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

To be honest, I don't myself know whether copy-pasting a google translation of a page in another language constitutes a copyright infringement or not. If it turns out that I was wrong to place the tag, please accept my apologies for cluttering your talk page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:11, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
