Just not true. No aspersions were cast, trying to deflect valid criticism and questions concerning your argument as "casting aspersions" just isn't civil. @HouseOfChange: Those are valid questions about the sources that are being used to judge others. The fact that you didn't like it doesn't make it "uncivil". Besides, that's not what is discussed here: baseless and totally uncalled for accusations of nastiness, having a dig at Aquillion (an editor I happen to agree with on most subjects), battleground behavior (after being attacked), trolling, etc. M.Bitton (talk) 19:48, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

@M.Bitton: I created the RSN discussion to seek consensus about the reliability of New Eastern Outlook-- that is, whether Wikipedia should use an assertion published in NEO "to support factual claims." Your response that the reliability of a source depends on context was unhelpful. You then bludgeoned onward with many dark hints about the unreliability of sources that are not NEO. This was offtopic. Your use of rhetorical questions was uncivil, a cheap way to try to score points without adding any information of value. HouseOfChange (talk) 20:52, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

@M.Bitton: I understand your response better given the context you offer. Further down the RSN page appears: "Requests for comment for deprecation, or for blacklisting or classification as generally unreliable of sources that are widely used in articles, should be registered here using {{rfc|prop}}." My RfC about NEO was intended as under that heading. The four "choices" I offered are standard choices that others have used before in such RfCs; I used them because I am not experienced at filing RfCs. HouseOfChange (talk) 22:10, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
