Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. M.Bitton (talk) 18:10, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- I kept my cool, I seem to remember you rage quitting[1] when your off topic comments, whataboutism, and incivility were challenged (and not just by me). Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:21, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- No, you didn't keep your cool, in fact, despite being asked not to, you (nobody else but you) kept casting aspersions even after I decided to leave the discussion. M.Bitton (talk) 18:25, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Just not true. No aspersions were cast, trying to deflect valid criticism and questions concerning your argument as "casting aspersions" just isn't civil. If you choose to leave a discussion on a noticeboard please do not continue it on a user talk page, thank you. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:42, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Leaving a discussion because it was personalized by you, doesn't give you the right to continue personally attacking me. I will ping an admin and see what they have to say. @Doug Weller: your input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please see the discussion in question. Thanks. - Pinging Doug Weller properly (messed up the signature the first time round). M.Bitton (talk) 19:21, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

@Doug Weller: I also considered M.Bitton's rhetorical questions What makes the DOS and the USDT more RS (or less biased) than the Strategic Culture Foundation and SouthFront?
and Is the pursuit of academic excellence the raison d'etre of Trump's and Biden's DOS and DOTA?
offtopic to the discussion and uncivil. I was grateful when Horse Eye's Back persuaded him to stop his attacks on the RSN process. HouseOfChange (talk) 19:29, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- @HouseOfChange: Those are valid questions about the sources that are being used to judge others. The fact that you didn't like it doesn't make it "uncivil". Besides, that's not what is discussed here: baseless and totally uncalled for accusations of
nastiness
, having adig at Aquillion
(an editor I happen to agree with on most subjects),battleground behavior
(after being attacked),trolling
, etc. M.Bitton (talk) 19:48, 7 May 2022 (UTC)- @M.Bitton: I created the RSN discussion to seek consensus about the reliability of New Eastern Outlook-- that is, whether Wikipedia should use an assertion published in NEO "to support factual claims." Your response that
the reliability of a source depends on context
was unhelpful. You then bludgeoned onward with many dark hints about the unreliability of sources that are not NEO. This was offtopic. Your use of rhetorical questions was uncivil, a cheap way to try to score points without adding any information of value. HouseOfChange (talk) 20:52, 7 May 2022 (UTC)- @HouseOfChange:

Did you read the part on RSN that says This page is for posting questions regarding whether particular sources are reliable in context? I won't bother addressing the other baseless assertions. M.Bitton (talk) 20:57, 7 May 2022 (UTC)the reliability of a source depends on context
was unhelpful- @M.Bitton: I understand your response better given the context you offer. Further down the RSN page appears: "Requests for comment for deprecation, or for blacklisting or classification as generally unreliable of sources that are widely used in articles, should be registered here using {{rfc|prop}}." My RfC about NEO was intended as under that heading. The four "choices" I offered are standard choices that others have used before in such RfCs; I used them because I am not experienced at filing RfCs. HouseOfChange (talk) 22:10, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- I've just been too tired to respond, and at the moment I'd rather not get involved unless I can help constructively. I'm trying to build myself up for chemo and the walking tires me out. Doug Weller talk 09:56, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Doug Weller: I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this. I hope you feel better soon. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 11:03, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Question
This user "Bulleye Jackie"... did they create that name to closely resemble and/or mock your username? If so, I don't believe that's allowed, but you can check at WP:UAA. (fyi). - wolf 04:22, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
