Information icon Hello, I'm ItsCheck. I noticed that you recently removed content from State of the World Tour without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ItsCheck (talk) 02:31, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you for sending me a notice to my talk page. I removed those hidden notes in the article State of the World Tour, as I found that they were not necessary to have as the cities can be changed to fit with the town, borough and/or village that neighbors in the city where the venue is. That is why I removed them, as I had explained in my edit. :) Thank you for messaging me, and I'm hoping your day is good. HorrorLover555 (talk) 16:17, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
Hey @HorrorLover555, I understand what you did. Thanks for taking the time to leave a response.

I looked into it but can't really make much of it--please file an SPI and ask for a CheckUser to look at it, preferably someone who knows this user. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 00:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Already filed an SPI. HorrorLover555 (talk) 00:59, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank you!

Hi there, I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for starting the Chris, Mrs. article. It's been one of the Canadian-related musical theatre pages I've been wanting to start but have gotten busy and didn't get to it. I'm glad to see that there's someone else working on creating and expanding some worthwhile Canadian musical theatre and other related pages! ChrisWilliam1995 (talk) 05:03, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

No problem! :) I actually decided to create the article for it after going to see the stage production three times this month. HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:42, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

explain the N/A

what is the point of the N/A if there isn't going to be another tour? Mpdaly86900711 (talk) 17:48, 5 January 2024 (UTC) and I highly doubt that Kiss is officially retired as they are already planning on Kiss Avatar shows in 2027

Please read the section "Next_concert or Next_tour" in Template:Infobox concert#Parameters. It says to type "N/A" if there is no future tour, which in the case, there isn't. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:51, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
by the way the band Rush doesn't have an N/A on their last tour. So where is the consistency? Mpdaly86900711 (talk) 17:52, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
I will go ahead and add that. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:53, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
Regarding the Kiss "digital avatar" shows, the concert tours will only count for the band only, not for the virtual stage show. The article's talk page for the band is probably going to be a long form of discussion when that comes. But still, just so we're clear, WP:CRYSTAL. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:57, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Explain you need to discuss

According to Paris La Défense official website, it is classified as an indoor arena. What else you need to discuss? Newpicarchive (talk) 16:32, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

What I meant by discuss is that you need to discuss to a consensus regarding that statement on the article's talk page here. Also, I did not appreciate you telling me that I should not be on Wikipedia in your edit summary, and I would like an apology. HorrorLover555 (talk) 16:48, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

AC/DC

Hi, What's wrong with 'The Americas'? I ask since the Austin gig wasn't just their first gig in North America; it was their 1st in North and South America.

I welcome your feedback. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bonjofan (talkcontribs) 13:49, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello! I changed the Americas to North America, because it would make a lot more sense to note when they first performed on North American soil, as the first show was in Austin. HorrorLover555 (talk) 18:27, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Iron Maiden: the latest changes.

Hi! I have noticed that you and another user have made extensive changes to the Iron Maiden Wikipedia page. It's a pity that you didn't discuss it with the author before making these decisions. I cannot understand why entire paragraphs regarding, for example, the 2022 - 2023 concerts promoting the Senjutsu album have disappeared. Does it bother you? Or maybe someone doesn't like the fact that the concerts from 2018 - 2022 are proof of the huge potential of this band? Another misunderstanding is the permanent deletion of data and FACTS regarding the group's achievements and career. I'm inclined to suspect bad faith here. I think that when creating an article on Wiki, facts and only facts supported by sources count. So I did. Unfortunately, I have the impression that someone who doesn't like Iron Maiden deliberately deletes certain entries. This is very sad, childish and mean. RALFFPL (talk) 15:40, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

@RALFFPL: You have been warned on your talk page about your ownership of the article and any articles related to Iron Maiden. Please read AirshipJungleman29's edit summaries for his reasons why he had to largely trim. HorrorLover555 (talk) 15:43, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi, Regrading you revert in the article a few mounts ago, can you help me understand what resources are needed? I read the what is written in WP:NTOUR, but i'm still not sure.

Here are some resources i found:

Are these sources would be enough? Little Savage (talk) 13:44, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello there! Have you also made sure to check WP:NOTRSMUSIC as well, they should also be able to verify which sources are good and which are not. Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours, those I am not sure of, so it would be good to check. Also, for some context regarding the redirecting of that article, that was not me who redirected it, but originally another user, although there was some edit warring from another user who has been persistent in reverting redirects back to articles that do not meet notability. HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:13, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
Regarding the redirecting, I personally don't really care who did it. I just looked at the article's history, and you seemed to me a one who i can consult with (i barely edit in Wiki English, so i don't really aware of the guidelines).
Anyway, thanks for the link to WP:NOTRSMUSIC. I've deleted from my message sources who listed as unreliable. As for Gigs and Tours, i saw in Wikipedia:NTOUR a requirement for coverage of a "financial success", and Gigs and Tours link shows that the tour was mostly sold out. I've noticed other articles using that website as a source (see here). As for Ticketmaster - There is nothing unique there and i can use other sources for the same content.
What do you think so far? What else is needed? Little Savage (talk) 16:42, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

Snow Patrol - Editing Subheader to say 'Northern Irish' instead of 'Scottish'

Hi HorrorLover555,

Thank you for responding to the previous request sent by Lauren McDermott. We work for the same company and I'm jumping in to give some explanation behind the request. Appreciate that the articles found do say the were formed in Dundee, Scotland with a mix of Scottish and Northern Irish members however the band has recently undergone a change in it's format and moved from a 5 piece to a 3 piece. All remaining 3 members are Northern Irish.

The general consensus from our side and with the band would be to change the sub heading to read 'Northern Irish Rock Band' but keep the origin story in the article.

Thanks Joheroncloser (talk) 14:59, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

My talk page is probably not the right place to discuss about Snow Patrol's origin. You might want to continue that discussion at Talk:Snow Patrol. Thanks. HorrorLover555 (talk) 20:20, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

green day saviours tour

hi my name is loid i made some edits on the saiours tour persail for green day i know i did not cite sources the thing is i do not know how to cite sources however i have links to show the changes are true billie joe harmonica song: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minority_(Green_Day_song)#Personnel if you look at the persol it says he plays harmonica tre lead vocals: all by myself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dookie#Personnel rock n roll girlfreind: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Idiot#Personnel mike dirnt volcals: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Idiot#Personnel please let me know if the links dont work or if there is anything else thank you. Loidforger555 (talk) 01:18, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

Hi there. Please note that Wikipedia is not a reliable source for citations elsewhere on Wikipedia. Per WP:RS, all additions need to be cited with an independent, reliable source. If none can be found that supports that claim, it should not be included, as it is considered original research. HorrorLover555 (talk) 02:19, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
ok how about this for the harmonica claim this link is to a video preformonce of the song Minority in this billie is playing the harmonica if you look at the setlist of the saviours tour on wikipedia Minority is a part of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wlciEc5J68. Loidforger555 (talk) 14:45, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
That was for a performance in 2009, and was uploaded by a non-official user, so it wouldn't be verifiable. See WP:RSPYT. In regards to the other two members, why not compromise and just say "backing and lead vocals"? HorrorLover555 (talk) 16:11, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
ok i am fine with putting down backing and lead vocals for tre and mike do i still need to put a source down? also sorry for the confusesion with the harmonica. Loidforger555 (talk) 16:57, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

John 5 credit for Bygones with Dolly Parton & 31 film score

Hi there, I noticed someone adding additional credit info for the John 5 participation on Dolly Parton's rock album. Someone added that Rob Halford and Nikki Sixx are also credited and this was removed. This is true and can be sourced back here: https://www.guitarworld.com/news/dolly-parton-halford-john5-nikki-sixx-bygones

Can this be added again or do you think it is not needed?

Similarly for the 31 film score. John 5 composed that score. Info sources here: https://screamermagazine.com/interviews/the-mastermind-of-john-5/ and here: https://bravewords.com/news/john-5-pulls-double-duty-for-rob-zombie-on-new-album-and-film

Again, should this additional info be added as the account you reverted mentioned or is it not needed for additional info/clarification?

Thanks in advance. EmmaJL5 13:27, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi there! I do not think it needs to be needed, as the mentions of Nikki Sixx and Rob Halford can and should be mentioned at their own articles. On top of that, I had to revert, as the edit is based on someone who has been evading their block for quite a long while now, and persists at wanting to add unsourced BLP edits. HorrorLover555 (talk) 15:58, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Hi @HorrorLover555 - thanks for the reply. Everything you said makes sense about naming the other artists. I thought that would be the type of answer I would get which is why I didn't go ahead and make a change adding their names back.
Also, understood on why those reverts were made - did some reading on just how far that sock puppet went.
Thanks again for your help Have a good day. EmmaJL5 13:31, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

Sourcing

Hey I’m curious what do you mean by Twitter being a “unreliable source” compared to the >ref source< ? The >ref source< got its source from setlist.fm which according to you also isn’t a reliable source. So if both websites are unreliable then do you just assume that the >ref source> is right, regardless? Please help me understand :) 216.93.130.160 (talk) 04:21, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Adam Darski

Hi. I've tried to get Adam Darski protected due to the persistent LTA, but it seems an admin is instead endorsing their disruption. Any help on the page or at WP:RFPP would be helpful. ― "Ghost of Dan Gurney" (talk)  19:29, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

Apologies if I seemed to undo your Rob Halford edit without reasoning. My intention was to include the language from the artist rationale: "For artists without separate discography pages, relevant discographical information, such as record labels, date(s) of release, chart positions, and sales certifications, may be included in the discography section." As Rob doesn't have one, I would suggest that interested readers would want to know his guest appearances. Redrkr (talk) 12:08, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

No worries. :) And fair enough, if anything I would suggest that sources should be added next to the credited appearances he was in. HorrorLover555 (talk) 12:46, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

Thanks

Just want to thank you for all the "tips" about the articles I edited, specially about stablished guidelines which some I'm not aware of. I'll continue my editing and your guidances are always welcome. Rodrigo71 (talk) 12:27, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Hey, no worries. :) HorrorLover555 (talk) 13:44, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
About all those canceled/postponed dates on the Human Nature tour... is it mandatory to include all the postponements? Cause that only stretches the space longer in my opinion, with all those european dates and stuff. If the show ended up happening afterall, I think we should only include the dates that indeed got canceled. What's the direction about it? Rodrigo71 (talk) 14:00, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
I'll edit It in a way I consider fit, and then you Feel free to reverse it if necessary Rodrigo71 (talk) 14:02, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Like, leaving only the last confirmed Date for the show before the final cancelation, with a ref to it Rodrigo71 (talk) 14:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Fair enough. The cancelled dates should matter most, after all. HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:20, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
