There is a group of folks who are focused on Mesoamerican articles. Their home page is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Mesoamerica. They also keep a list of needed-but-unwritten articles here (look at the bottom of the page).
I would also be available to help when/if needed.
Hope this helps, Madman (talk) 22:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks so much! Yeah, I'm new here...you probably can tell. Thanks for the info and ttyl
Photos are always welcome
[edit]Another way you can contribute to Wikipedia is by uploading photos of Mesoamerican artifacts and sites. It can be difficult to take a good photo of a museum artifact, what with the glass reflections and the (usual) need to use ambient lighting (no flash), but there's nothing like a photo to show describe a culture.
Also, only the most tourist-y archaeological sites articles have photos.
Just a thought . . . Madman (talk) 14:20, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, i've certainly got many photos from Teotihuacan and Mexico's Museum of Anthropology that are pretty good for my topics of interest. i just might have to upload a few some time! Thnx again HopieG (talk) 16:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
