Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Liu Kang, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cartwheel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Mortal Kombat

Quan Chi aside, there are some long-standing articles that continue to be neglected for years because no one cares about these characters on Wikipedia (namely Kano and Baraka). Some others like Shang Tsung also might do better (I sometimes contribute but not that much). --Niemti (talk) 16:02, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Also if you care about Soulcalibur, it's just odd there are no articles for Siegfried and Mitsurugi. --Niemti (talk) 16:33, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

I added a chunk of stuff to the Baraka article, including uploading a new infobox image; yeah, you can practically see the cobwebs on that page. (I noticed that you also updated Kano's infobox image; good, because the official game render is pretty awful.) Unfortunately, however, I've never played Soulcalibur in my life, so I don't know anything about the game or the characters. sixtynine • spill it • 02:58, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks. Sonya's pretty poor as compared to other girls, if you've got nothing to do you might drop by. --Niemti (talk) 10:39, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for writing section User talk:Jeff G./Archives/2014/February#British_recording_studios. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to respond before it was archived. FYI, I noticed that with this edit, Edge Recording Studios (talk · contribs) removed the bullet "Eel Pie Studios - London, England" and added spam, and that with your subsequent edit, you emptied the section of the spam (thank you) but did not go quite far enough to restore that bullet. I restored that bullet, fully reverting both of your actions and returning the page to the status quo. I'm sorry if my Edit Summary was insufficiently explanatory. Thank you for your help with reverting this vandalism.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 07:19, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Cassie Cage

"Cassie Cage, the daughter of series veterans Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, will also be joining the fray, armed with a mixture of her parents’ movesets. Cassie also serves as a way to highlight the game’s expansive storyline. Mortal Kombat X’s plot begins right after the events of the previous installment, but goes as far as 25 years into the future. This allows NetherRealm to incorporate a number of new characters, including some who, like Cassie, are descendants of familiar fighters."[1] --Niemti (talk) 06:47, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

Stately Wayne Manor profile notices

Was a little baffled upon seeing the recent Notifications on the top of the Stately Wayne Manor profile, more specifically citing a lack of References.

I did read the information posted elsewhere, stating that one's own website and the like are not suitable enough, and understand that part. I suppose the link to the Power Slam magazine Wikipedia entry should be move down into the reference section, and I know of three books that validate claims that SWM participates in pro wrestling activities. There are also several sites with results of the Lyyton literary contests, which I am hoping are admissible to add, despite Stately's entries appearing under his 'legal' name.

However, when I went to edit out some "weasel" words, I also noticed the term

which was followed by nothing despite a Reference list still appearing on the page. And, frankly, I did not want to edit in links to said book and said PS link move, out of fear of screwing up what currently appears on the page.

Please advise. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

X in Mortal Kombat X

Hi. I was tempted to revert your change, but I thought I'd write to you here instead. The remark of X being the roman numeral for ten is pretty irrelevant, besides obvious. The game's creators have repeatedly said the X in MKX admittedly stands for the letter X, for a number of marketing and PR nonsensical reasons. Do we really need that assertion there? --uKER (talk) 15:31, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Hey. I couldn't reply right away due to work, but I took the passage down. (It was then replaced by someone else and then re-removed. Oy vey!) The intention at the time was to clarify the connotation of the "X" in the title, under the assumption that casual players wouldn't immediately get the gist of it. sixtynine • speak up • 23:28, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:CageMKXrender.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Goro

Thanks for the updates on Goro, but us in the Mortal Kombat universe agree that Goro was, in part, defeated because of his sensitive testicles. He does not show pain when punch in the head/body, but does cringe, excessively, when punch "below the belt". The YT link is important because it confirms this. Also, this is my first user:talk post, so I am not sure if I took the proper path. Let me know, cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tea116 (talkcontribs) 21:04, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I removed the content because the "extremely sensitive testicles" description and Goro's supposed reaction are nonencyclopedic unsourced opinions that don't really have a place in the article, while YouTube is not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia, especially for copyrighted material like movie footage, all regardless of what the "Mortal Kombat universe" thinks. Therefore, the content has to come back down, and is probably more suited for the Mortal Kombat Wikia. (And not to worry; you took the proper path on the talk page.) Take care. sixtynine • speak up • 02:05, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Tremor, MKX and newcomers.

Hi Beemer69, I am here to tell you that I did not edit anything regarding Tremor. I had nothing to do with Tremor being placed in MKX newcomers (technically, he did make his playable debut in X), but all I edited on the roster table was the addition of Bo' Rai Cho and Tri-Borg in MKX. Tri-Borg is a newcomer with his variations most likely being Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke. If there is an edit war involving Tremor's debut, please start up a section on the article's talk page. I don't edit all day because I need to live my life. UltraDark:) 2 CHAT 19:07, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Yeah, after I made the initial edit on Tremor I promptly realized my mistake (including erroneously lashing out at you) and reverted it. That table is a royal pain in terms of monitoring edits. sixtynine • speak up • 03:04, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
