Lala image
Hi there! Apologies for the late reply - I didn't notice your message sandwiched between the spam :-) I'm hesitant to assume the image is GFDL/compatible with Wikipedia copyright policy, but I suspect the uploaded is associated with a (presently unavailable) website dedicated to Victoria Cross recipients. The website's content was "migrated" to Wikipedia by its creator, User:Mike Chapman. There is an inactive project that provides greater detail. Hope that's of help! And the break's been enjoyable - I miss Wikipedia, though :-) Happ y editing! SoLando (Talk) 01:00, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Reply about Ryan McCombs
Honestly, I feel no need to start an edit war (I'm mellow). I did research upon SOiL's genre, and it said aggressive rock. But, if you can prove otherwise, I insist you change it, as that will most likely be more accurate. I appreciate the care you put into not inflaming a edit war, and this should be, as you are a member of Esperanza. If you do or do not find evidence suggesting that SOiL was a metal band, please reply. I am curious upon the result. Thanks again, -Evan 13:38, 21 August 2006 (UTC).

Speedy deletions
Hi there; for information, the template for deletion of an article with nothing in is {{db-empty}}. It's much quicker to type. Happy wikying!--Anthony.bradbury 14:36, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sure. The two templates which I would say are essential reading are WP:SUBST which lists the various deletion codes, and Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace, which gives a list of messages to leave on an editor's talk page; this is quite often necessary.--Anthony.bradbury 14:51, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. that last one is 29 pages long!--Anthony.bradbury 14:52, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, fair bit to take on board. A word of advice, and it's not with any problem in mind, because what you've done you've done right (apart from not knowing about empty, but flagging the article was correct). Advice - when you're first starting, be careful. If you're not sure, leave it; someone else will be looking out and will see it. This might save you from being moaned at, and improves your standing when/if you start looking for admin status. (No, I'm not, yet)--Anthony.bradbury 15:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
World's Strongest Man
Thanks for redirecting the title. If you don't mind could you quickly go through or give me the link to instructions on how you did that? I clicked move to, then entered World's Strongest Man, and it told me I couldn't do it as it was a double redirect. Quadzilla99 14:48, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
I retagged Ambatchdotcom
Spam is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. I changed your tag, placing {{db-a3}} on the article. BigNate37(T) 16:26, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Re-ignition.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Re-ignition.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
