Farsnews
[edit]Hogg 22 I saw you edited with this source and just wanted to tell you that this source is an Iranian source who supports the Assad Goverment in Syria and is labeled as a pro-regime source.Lists129 (talk) 18:41, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- I ask you not use for edit one of incorrect sources "Fars News"(very often Fars News publish incorrect and contradictory data and sometimes publish a data about the events that took place a few days ago)because this source today said that the SAA captured the strategic villages of Qatar and Tal Hattabat to the North of Kuweires airport.here(12:09) but in (13:06)here source said that the The Syrian army also inflicted heavy losses on Takfiri terrorists of ISIL, destroying a number of their vehicles, some equipped with machineguns after targeting their positions and hideouts in the villages of Tal Hatabat, Qatar, al-Mifilseh and al-Bab. Firstly the villages Tal Hatabat, Qatar was captured 23 January according to reliable sources Al-Masdarhere and SOHRhere and yesteray SAA advance from Tal Hatabat and captured the village of Arbid al-Judaydah(other name‘Ayn Al-Hanish)hereherehere Fars News it is very bad(incorrects) source which we dont need use. Sûriyeya (talk) 10:30, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Sûriyeya, OK, if I find interesting info on Fars news, I will consult others on talk page. --Hogg 22 (talk) 06:33, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
Abu Faraj
[edit]You source about Abu Faraj provide data for yesterday but new source said that SAA arrived to the small village of Hawareen and currently, the SAA are positioned just north of Hawareen and prepare to retake village.here But they can't advance to Huwwarin if before they not take small hamlet Abu Farej on road from Hadath to Huwwarin.here So please self-revert this edit.here Sûriyeya (talk) 10:09, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
SANA
[edit]SANA is an unreliable source to use in editing, please refrain from using SANA.Alhanuty (talk) 13:19, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
- Alhanuty, I use it to find out which places are under rebel control. I believe it's reliable in that cases. --Hogg 22 (talk) 22:18, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
Ateera
[edit]SOHR said that rebels captured the Attera school near the village of Ateera.here but clashes still continued.here But in you source just was said "According to rebel social media pages, the Islamists have recaptured the town of ‘Ateiri and they are advancing towards the strategic Zahiya Mountains (Jabal Al-Zahiya) that overlook the Turkish-Latakia border."here But source not confirmed that the village was taken. So village not retaken by rebels. You made mistake. Sûriyeya (talk) 15:32, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
Suran / Sawran
[edit]The ISIS-held town Suran/Sawran for now present on map north of Mare. Why you add another town Sawran in this area. Sûriyeya (talk) 14:01, 22 January 2016 (UTC)

Bayanoun
[edit]My apologies, I made a mistake. I made the edits with the intention of marking from contested to rebel-held (not SAA-held) but didn't notice I picked the wrong color (red instead of lime). EkoGraf (talk) 08:57, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- I just attempted to switch from red to lime but you already corrected it instead of me. Thank you. I hope that clears it all up. I cited my source in the edit summaries with the intention of pointing out to editor PutItOnAMap that the SAA had in fact not reached the town yet and were still on its outskirts (from the direction of the besieged towns). EkoGraf (talk) 09:00, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Tal al-Sahen
[edit]Source not said that village Tal al-Sahen ISIS-held also near have Tal al-Sahen hill we only can edit if source clear said that target ISIS positions in village or hill. they also can target ISIS gathering in Tal al-Sahen surroundings or on hill. We need more clear data. Also not one the sources not said that the ISIS captured some points on south of Suweida. We edit if source clear said that SAF strike positions inside village or hill. Also sometimes SANA made mistake. SANA said that SAF stirike ISIS gathering in Jubb al Jarah but next time said that SAF strike ISIS gathering near Jubb al Jarah and SOHR also said that ISIS only strike Jubb al Jarah. So as I said SANA sometimes made mistakes in reports. So for any edits on based SANA and also the Fars News need more clear data. So I ask you do not rush to edit especially if the data do not say specifically who controls the village, city or hill. You remmber as on based bad data was marked the many villages as SDF-held in Raqqa and south of Kobane. So as I said need more clear data before do edit. Also all reliable, pro-opposition and pro-government sources claim that ISIS presents only north of Suweyda. Sûriyeya (talk) 11:39, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
- I know that we can't use a maps as a sources but all pro-SAA and anti-SAA sources clear indicate that no ISIS on south of Suweyda.herehereherePlus map from BBC here So I think we need more data(except one report which is not said that ISIS held the some points in southern Suwayda) about presents of ISIS in southern Suweyda. Sûriyeya (talk) 11:55, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
Some villages in Aleppo
[edit]You made incorrect edit you marked as ISIS-held village of Al ‘Uwaynah which is located on Aleppo-Al-Ithriyah road which is cleared from ISIS.hereherehereherehere So you need again marked as SAA-held village of Al ‘Uwaynah and find village Al-‘Awaynat about which said source. Also source said that the SAA bombed villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo but Al ‘Uwaynah located in southern countryside of Aleppo. So this mistake after all relaible sources clear said that road cleared from ISIS that can't still hold village on this roda. So need do the partialy revert. Al ‘Uwaynah SAA-held. Do this. Sûriyeya (talk) 18:14, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- SOHR later clear said SAA restore control the entire Salamiyah-Aleppo road.here So this clear confirmed that the village of Al ‘Uwaynah located on this road. So that village SAA-held. Also probably here is a village of Al-Qalay’athere Sûriyeya (talk) 18:53, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Also ISIS announced that its forces withdrew from the road between Ithria and Khanaser in countryside of Aleppo.herehere So ISIS confirmed thay they withdrew completely from road between Ithria and Khanaser and village of Al ‘Uwaynah also located on this road and this mean that this village also under control of SAA. So I was right when said that Al ‘Uwaynah can't be ISIS held. Sûriyeya (talk) 20:50, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

- User Hogg22 intervened correctly bc you where vandalizing by a page of Kurdish tribes being proudly pan-Turkish Nationalist focussing on targetting pages of minorities standing in the way of thes pan-Turkish dreams.
- Hogg 22 effort of keeping wikipedia free of such constant ethnic-targeted edits deserves a lot of respect and approval. This is not always easy so some reward should be in place. --Niele~enwiki (talk) 22:39, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
