Image copyright problem with Image:Flava logo.png
Thank you for uploading Image:Flava logo.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:14, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm surprised you haven't added your name to the members list, what with all the Sky EPG stuff you do?. Malpass93 (talk) 20:20, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Shrektheogre.JPG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Shrektheogre.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 13:33, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Nickjr2logo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nickjr2logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 12:13, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Allied Carpets
A tag has been placed on Allied Carpets, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. LegoTech·(t)·(c) 15:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
A couple notes
I blocked following your AIV report, but largely based on what appears to be a disruptive pattern of editing. In the future, complex cases--such as long-term sourcing issues and such--should probably be reported at WP:ANI.
Also, the last few days you've made a series of reversion with "SOURCE OR DIE!" in the edit summary. Please discontinue this; there are more appropriate ways to request proper sourcing. — Scientizzle 16:25, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- You've also warned some users with "SOURCE OR DIE!" in the edit summary and header. Although at least one may be well-deserved, as I see little evidence of any non-vandal edits, it's really not polite. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 15:04, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: Channel 289. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Calling any editor a "fool" is an unacceptable attack. —C.Fred (talk) 15:25, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Channel 289. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Restoring a {{db}} is hardly ever allowed, not to mention 3 times. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 15:33, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Re the Channel 289 article: Simply missing sources is not grounds for an article being speedily deleted. However, why I did delete the article was when it appeared to be a creation of GMTV Chart Show (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) under a new user name. At that point, it qualified under criterion G3, blatant vandalism. —C.Fred (talk) 18:17, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Image:Donkeyshrek.JPG
I have tagged Image:Donkeyshrek.JPG as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 21:40, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Regarding this edit summary:
Not appropriate. Yes, the IP in question is a pain in the rear end, and yes, his edits needed to be reverted in the blink of an eye, but it doesn't warrent behaviour like that from you. Please take a glance over WP:CIVIL. TalkIslander 20:55, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't care! HMR 22:02, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well guess what, you don't have much of a choice whether to care or not. WP:CIVIL is a policy, and is thus not optional. Count this as a warning, and please stop. TalkIslander 21:46, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Do you know why I did that Edit summary, That's because I was fed up of that IP Address user who has added incorrect shows on the former programming list on List of programming on TV channel articles. 18:52, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
UK Channels
Hay,
i noticed you have amended discovery uk channel, i also made a few of the other needing uk articles any chance you could updating them as well to the same as discovery? just i don't have time to do them fully yet.
the other ones for now are animal planet and national geographic wild--Andrewcrawford (talk) 19:55, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
About this Edit summary:
Becareful with what you say as an admin would get you blocked for not being civil on wikipedia, i strongly urge you to look at WP:CIVIL. Dont bother to say "I dont care" as i will instantly go to an admin to report about you being uncivil. Wikipedia thrives on reasonable dicussions and editing and co-operation between editiors which makes wikipedians feel like they can edit wikipedia without reciving stupid threats, rudeness and name-calling. These kind of incivility which you have done in the edit summary will come across to some as an threat or what not and will leave editing wikipedia for good.
- If an editor is being disruptive then just revert the edit without childlish rudeness and report it in the right place. thank you and enjoy wikipedia. Pro66 (talk) 11:08, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice
Hi,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Image copyright problem with Image:Princeeric.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Princeeric.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:18, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
