Hello Hk vincentlai.
I am your course online ambassador. This means that I will try to assist you to get your article into Wikipedia, using the style and techniques required here. I am a volunteer working from Australia, so my timezone overlaps with yours quite a bit. You are welcome to ask me questions on my talk page or to use email on this screen: Special:EmailUser/Graeme_Bartlett.
I am looking forward to your new article and your improvements to Wikipedia. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:17, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Sandbox name
[edit]Hi there. You have created a sandbox with an esoteric name User:Hk vincentlai/Vincent sandbox/User:Hk vincentlai/Vincent sandbox. Hopefully you can find it again even though the name is a bit repetitive! I can be renamed if you want. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:50, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi Bartlett. Sure Could u please help me put my sandbox in the my course page Graeme Bartlett
- I have done it. I renamed your page to User:Hk vincentlai/subduction polarity flipping. See if that is what you want before it goes live as an article. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:51, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
Please try to remember to sign your talk page posts
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:12, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Subduction polarity reversal
[edit]On 14 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Subduction polarity reversal, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that subduction polarity reversal on either side of Taiwan causes differences in topography? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Subduction polarity reversal. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Subduction polarity reversal), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
