Links to user pages and sandboxes
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Urdu Wikipedia. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay (talk) 18:34, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
- Arjayay, there was never any link to userpage or sandboxes at either Urdu Wikipedia or any other article. One of the links which was cited there has been referred in the conclusion of this Meta discussion.
- I included this link as well as the general consensus on Urwiki regarding interwiki tieups/ collaboration when one of my colleagues asked me to place a link for the same in the Enwiki article. Personally, I don't advocate any such inclusion and will not include the removed links myself. FYI. --Hindustanilanguage (talk) 21:59, 12 April 2021 (UTC) Hindustanilanguage (talk) 22:02, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
