Possible topics

[edit]
During class, Matt and I talked about possible topics for our project being 1. Behavioral Profiling and 2. Hypnosis but we can do anything it does not matter to me. Hhills (talk) 01:42, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
What do you guys think about those two topics choices? Joseph.helmer and Matthew.d.hofer I think behavioral profiling is very interesting and hypnosis is a topic that is in our CCD chapter. Hhills (talk) 01:38, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Hhills (talk) 01:34, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Another possible topic

[edit]

Another possible topic instead of offender profiling, that one seems to have a lot of info. already, we could do Criminal Psychology? I looked at the wikipedia page and the top of the article says it needs some editing and that could be an interesting one to do. Hhills (talk) 02:00, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I like the idea of criminal psychology. I think it would be a cool topic to study and get information on. If both of you agree I think that criminal psychology would be the one I would choose. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph.helmer (talkcontribs) 16:31, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I also like the hypnosis topic. Especially if it is in our CCD chapter, we already have a source on the topic and a foundation of where we can start our page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph.helmer (talkcontribs) 16:38, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts

[edit]

I like the idea of either the offender profiling or the criminal psychology, but honestly don't have much of a preference either way. Offender profiling may even fall under the category of criminal psychology. I would be interested in both. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matthew.d.hofer (talkcontribs) 04:06, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Under the article of criminal psychology its says a big part of criminal psychology is profiling so these kind of go hand in hand! Should we tell Dr. Council criminal psychology is our topic? Hhills (talk) 05:07, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. That sounds like it will be an interesting topic. So it looks like we all agree that criminal psychology is our number one choice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matthew.d.hofer (talkcontribs) 05:14, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your topic choice

[edit]

Hi Group 11. Criminal psychology is a poor choice for an article to develop. It is already long and detailed. It would be hard to add to it in a systematic and substantial way. If you are interested in forensic psychology, I can try to help you find a stub article in that area, e.g., a pioneering forensic psychologist. J.R. Council (talk) 18:15, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would be interested in the forensic psychology topic if that works for the rest of the group. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph.helmer (talkcontribs) 00:15, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We could do the topic of Howard Teten. He is one of the first FBI's offender profilers and pioneered forensic psychology. Hhills (talk) 03:10, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that I did not comment on Teten as a final choice. Good choice - go with this! J.R. Council (talk) 17:23, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
