TO M. @Zero0000:.

[edit]

Sir

Stating that Morocco was created in 1956 is a great ignorence. Morocco exists since thouands years, and as a state since 788, which is thirteen century ago. Its name in arabic was always "Al Maghrib", and any book and papers existing at that time wrote by Moroccans talk about Morocco by saying "Maghrib".

Morocco became under Spanish and French and International protectorate for fourty years in 1912 to November 1955. After that, it was not created, but just recovered full sovereigntey. During the protectorate period, Morocco maintained its insitutions, its traditions, its flag, its king called Sultan at that time.

Best regards

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mauretania. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 11:07, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir
Please note that I have introduced a paragraphe in the talk page of the Mauretania article, without any reaction from you.
Concerning the article, the following formulation is accurate, and the previous one that you keep restoring, is totally wrong. Mauretnia does not stretch from Algeria to the Atlantic. Mauretania is located in northern present day Morocco. After an agreement woth Rome, Mauretania invaded and annexed what is today western Algeria.
The best formulation is therefore the following:"It was located in present-day Morocco and extended its area to the east in present day Algeria at the early 1st century BC" as the source strongly suggest:https://www.worldhistory.org/article/2129/exploring-roman-morocco/
Regards HfedBo (talk) 12:04, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you read the article (I mean all of it) to fully understand its scope. M.Bitton (talk) 12:30, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did and muliple times.
The introduction is totally misleading and Algeria should not be mentioned in the introduction paragraph, exactly as Morocco is not mentioned in the entire article related to Numidia. It is unfair to suggest the opposite version of History, and intend that Mauretania was originally Algeria and extended to the west. It is the opposite version of the reality and Wikipedia should not become a tool to rewrite History according to the present. HfedBo (talk) 12:35, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If after reading the article you still don't understand what the subject is about (the history of a territory that spans ten centuries), then isn't a lot I can do to help you. M.Bitton (talk) 12:50, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What I say is simple. When you say that Mauretania extends from west Algeria, you say a wrong statement. Mauretania was located only in North Morocco. Between early and late first century, after a pact with Rome, the Mauri King invaded wetern Numidia. You are conflating Muaretania Tingitana and Caesarea and Sitifensis into one single entity, which is not true. Mauretania is northern modern day Morocco, and it seems that this particular assertion annoys you, and for some obsure reasons, you keep deleting the right formulation.
We already had this conversation about the independence day in Morocco. You insist to stick to the 2nd of March, willing to impose your agenda over Morocco, however, in Morocco itself the independance day is 18th of November. Wikipedia is not here to rewrite History according to everyones agenda, it is only here to reflect the reality on the ground. HfedBo (talk) 14:40, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And please, you do not have any single seniority over me. I am editor in wikipedia, having spent time woking pro bono, following my passion. Either you provide sources, facts and explanation, or you accept editts that are supported by sources. HfedBo (talk) 14:42, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When you say... That's what the reliable source says.
willing to impose your agenda over Morocco This is where we end this pseudo-discussion (as I have no time for those who cast aspersions). M.Bitton (talk) 14:49, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, you use your status in Wikipedia to have a disgraceful arrogant behaviour toward people who work pro bono for this project, and you have no right and any title to behave with such disgrace.
What is your hierachy of people to start stamping "pseudo discussion". Do you think there are pseudo people on earth, in opposition to real people?
Rather than stating statements, present extracts from your sources, that show what you say, and then accept discussing it. Although I might belong to pseudo people with whom you accept to have pseudo conversations, I am member of wikipedia since 8 years, and have never been insulted that way HfedBo (talk) 15:15, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
