I am happy with the text for User:Hettyleigh/sandbox, however I am worried about the referencing. Australian Cartooning is a small cottage industry. Therefore the referencing sources may not be valid, as per the Referencing Guide. Can someone please review my page for Lindsay Foyle and provide feedback. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hettyleigh (talk • contribs) 01:54, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- If you are satisfied that you have done all you can to provide proper referencing, it is time to submit the draft for review. To my eye, you are relying far too much on primary sources, so you may want to look into that, either before or after submitting. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:27, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

How do I publish this article? Thanks! Hettyleigh (talk) 02:20, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, step one is now accomplished - I moved the draft to draftspace - the move was complicated by your near-simultaneous attempt to move it directly to article space. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:43, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- And I've added an AFC draft template so there is a submit button.
- I still think you are too reliant on primary sources, so you should consider working on that before submitting for review. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:48, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- I just looked at the sources again. None of them are independent reporting about Foyle. You've invoked bios, interviews, and listings of positions, but nothing that allows us to establish notability. You might think that the bare facts of his life membership in the ACA or having been its president would confer notability, but that's unfortunately not the case. You need to find instances where an independent reporter has 'taken note of' these achievements and published about them in a reliable source. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:02, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
