Disambiguation link notification for April 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sargun Mehta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kapil Sharma. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK for Sargun Mehta
[edit]On 13 July 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sargun Mehta, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that as a child, Indian actress Sargun Mehta (pictured) and her brother auditioned for the dance reality show Boogie Woogie, but were rejected? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sargun Mehta. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello Hetika. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Sargun Mehta. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Hetika. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Hetika|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. The same applies with the article of Ravi Dubey. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 03:27, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
