Re: Deletion of Michael Birkin page
[edit]Hi Herve, I wasn't involved in the deletion of the article I simply deletion sorted the AfD under Businesspeople and England. In regards to having the article restored you should contact the closing administrator in this case User:Tone as a non admin I don't have the tools required to restore the article. If you are not satisfied by the admin's response you can contest the deletion at a deletion review. Another option open to you is to have the article restored to your userspace where you can work on the article and add the links you provided on my page and others to improve the article to demonstrate it passes notability guidelines if and when that's done it can be moved back to the mainspace by the admin or yourself under their approval, but that's something you should discuss with User:Tone. Please be aware if you simply recreate the article it may or mayn't be deleted under speedy deletion criteria G4. I hope this helps. Regards ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 23:38, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi DUCKISJAMMY: Thank you for your help. I am not sure how to move the content to the page other than to cut and paste, so that is what I am doing. --Herve49727 (talk) 17:28, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Herve49727
- Hi, here's the content. Good luck! --Tone 19:58, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Your welcome, you should move the previous content which User:Tone has provided you to User:Herve49727/Michael Birkin (businessman) and work on it there. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 14:33, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi DUCKISJAMMY: I have been editing the Michael Birkin (businessman) page in here User:Herve49727/Michael Birkin (businessman) and am confused about a couple of things. I cannot get the footnote reference numbers to increase in numerical order. 2. Two of the section headings do not seem to revert to the proper template after an edit. Can you help me with these issues?
Finally, may I ask you how to move the file into a space where User:Tone can review it?
Thanks so much.Herve49727 (talk) 20:47, 11 February 2014 (UTC)--Herve49727 (talk) 20:45, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi DUCKISJAMMY Thank you for fixing the section headers. I do not know why the final graf in the career section has disappeared -- what he did after Omnicom. It seems somehow to be connected to the reflist template. Thank you, Herve--Herve49727 (talk) 16:56, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
