License tagging for Image:45Sqn10.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:45Sqn10.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

A request
Hi Heraldic, i was wondering if you possibly had access to a particular book called Facsimile of an Ancient Heraldic Manuscript, Emblazoned by Sir David Lyndsay of the Mount. Lyon King of Armes 1542, edited by David Laing, 1878. There is a blazon i'd like to have a quotation of.--Celtus (talk) 10:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Who are you after and I'll see what I've got.--Heraldic 10:48, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- That said all I'll do is look here - http://www.heraldry-scotland.co.uk/mitchell.html - for anything outside the two Scottish Ordinaries. I have my own heraldic website but I've been told off for linking to it.--Heraldic 10:53, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link, i was looking for the arms of MacAulay of Ardincaple but it doesn't turn up on the "Lindsay's Armorial" list. The problem with adding webpages you are involved with is it looks like spam unless you are actually contributing on the article. I've added the link to the Fraser page, obviously it is relevant to the article.--Celtus (talk) 11:35, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Arbitration
As required by Wikipedia this is a notice that I have included you as a party in my request for arbitration [[1]]--Kingofmann (talk) 03:41, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of David Howe (claimant to King of Mann)
An editor has nominated David Howe (claimant to King of Mann), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Howe (claimant to King of Mann) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 16:59, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
An Arbitration case involving you has been opened, and is located here. Please add any evidence you may wish the Arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Kingofmann/Evidence. Please submit your evidence within one week, if possible. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Kingofmann/Workshop.
On behalf of the Arbitration Committee, — Coren (talk) 01:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
This arbitration case has been dismissed and the final decision is available at the link above. The community can take care of this entire issue itself -- the article has been deleted and User:Kingofmann has departed wikipedia. — Rlevse • Talk • 21:56, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- My prediction that he would rapidly reincarnate became true. Let us just do without his short and unimportant section. He doesn't like what the community is prepared to tolerate so let us allow him to run his own website without assistance from us. CarbonLifeForm (talk) 09:28, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I was trying to be absolutely neutral :-). I wonder why he can't leave Wikipedia alone? I presume he hope it will provide some sort of third party validation that is lacking everywhere else. All rather sad. --Heraldic (talk) 10:06, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
