No private message system
[edit]I got your question for me on my talk page. The Wiki software does not have any private messaging system. Some users make it possible to send them an email, and you can find a link for that in the left column on the user's page or talk page. However, it is very rare that this feature is used in ordinary wiki-related matters. __meco (talk) 17:55, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Please learn how to cite references before editing articles. You can't just put "[11]" after something as a citation, as the article is edited, the numbering on the automatically-generated citation number can change, invalidating your citation. Also, as citations generally require page numbers, reusing an existing citation is rarely correct in any case. Yworo (talk) 00:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Reliable sources
[edit]Pages on Angelfire.com are not reliable sources. Yworo (talk) 00:59, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Full citations
[edit]Please use full citations. A full book citation includes the author's name, the publisher, and the ISBN. See WP:CITE and {{Cite book}} for more details. Yworo (talk) 01:03, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
formatting and trolls
[edit]Hi Henry123ifa,
I formatted your responses on the talk page of Plastic Shaman by indenting your writing so as to make clear where the previous author had finished writing and where you began your response. You can do this in the future by placing a colon (:) at the beginning of each of your paragraphs. Also, in general, and especially on political topics such as Plastic shamans, beware of trolls. - Okay thanks!
