Wa alaikum salam, vasha. Don't worry, no offence taken! I actually didn't know you were a Chechen as well. There has been many cases over the years here with foreigners with negative intentions constantly editing the texts and numbers here, and I thought you were one of them. Personally speaking, and what I've seen from the researches that Demographers made, I think 2.5M might be a bit big of a number. It's likely more around 2.1 to 2.2 million.
