Denmark EP elections

[edit]

Hi, I see you intend to work on the Danish EP election articles. I was wondering if you might like to comment on the talk page of Netherlands (European Constituency). I intend to create these constituency pages and include each election year's information on them instead of having seperate stubs for each election year for each country (as many are still read links). Like to know what you think. - J Logan t: 11:15, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like your idea. Left a comment at Talk:Elections in the European Union. Hemmingsen 15:49, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Renaissance architecture

[edit]

You are doing a great job of defending that article! One wonders why these silly people must do it! A piece of vandalism several weeks or maybe moths old has come to my attention where someone had changed "Giotto's master, Cimabue...." to "Giotto's slave, Cimabue..." !!? Keep up the valiant battle! Amandajm (talk) 09:11, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it's always nice to hear that someone cares. I wonder too, how come it's so funny to write words like "poop", but maybe I'm just too old to understand. :) Hemmingsen (talk) 11:01, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Moment of Inertia

[edit]

Hi, I made a change to the moment of inertia list, and noticed that you have reverted the same changes several times. I've posted a defense of the change I made on the talk page of the article. Talk:List_of_moments_of_inertia —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudecon (talkcontribs) 19:14, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And it turns out I'm no good at math. Go figure. Undid the edit, no worries. Dudecon (talk) 19:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hello Hemmingsen ..

[edit]

Please stop removing factually correct information about the editor-in-chief for Danish newspaper "Politiken" . "Politiken" has service called "Ask Politiken" and I have asked them about this issue . They confirmed the information and provided a link to www.bilderberg.org .. 83.233.182.187 (talk) 16:11, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've replied on Talk:Tøger Seidenfaden. Hemmingsen 18:03, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What does one do about this stupid person... I don't know how to go about banning someone! but 25 times indicates a degree of obbsession that is quite unpleasant. Amandajm (talk) 10:23, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Amanda.
Unfortunately, I don't think our policies allow for banning in this case. The problem with banning ip-addresses like this one, which appears to be dynamically assigned, is that we would likely be targetting someone innocent and not the perpetrator. If someone had left a note at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism while he was still active, the vandal would likely had been given a temporary block of something like 24 hours, but not banned. An alternative strategy would be to send an abuse report describing the vandalism to the internet service provider. They do reserve the right to terminate their service for any objectionable use, but I have no idea as to how strictly they implement that. If you want to try this, use the abuse-email listed here, and be sure to mention the ip-address and the exact time of the edits so they can trace them to a specific person/household/whatever.
