[edit]Hello, Hellojstyne, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Feedback request
[edit]I got your message. Is there anything I can help you with?
I saw the article you created on Chambers Harris, and while it's a good start, I was wondering if you intended to create it in mainspace, rather than in a sandbox. If you would prefer to develop it a little more before having it go "live", I can move it to a sandbox for you. If not, could you improve the formatting of the article as outlined in the Editing Wikipedia brochure and the Biographies handout? You should have copies of both of them, but I'm linking to them here, just in case. Let me know if you have other questions. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:02, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- I moved the article back to your userspace - it's not at User:Hellojstyne/Chambers Harris. I left the categories in place, but I modified them so that they aren't "live", since they aren't supposed to be live in sandboxes. Once you're ready, you shouldn't have any problem moving the page back to mainspace. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:38, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Where was it moved to? Please provide link. Thanks! --Hellojstyne (talk) 21:04, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Paywalled sites
[edit]Hi. I can see you edited Conducting with the best of intent, and while adding information about "further reading" is generally good (usually in it's own section), the link you provided is what we call a paywalled site - meaning folks who don't have a subscription can't see the content. That's explicitly called out in WP:LINKSTOAVOID. I've gone ahead and reverted your changes. Good luck with the class project. Toddst1 (talk) 21:24, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
