Confusion
Hi, I'm sending this message because i recently recieved a message from you asking me(?) to stop editing pages. I'm a little worried, becuase I made none of the edits you said I did. Is there some wasy someone could've hacked my IP Address?
Regarding your Pentagon diagram...
Hello, I'm currently beginning a project to compile as much data on the 9/11 attacks as possible and wondered if you could tell me anything about your Pentagon diagram. I tried to retrace your steps on the NCDC sire but I'm not sure what the data I'm looking at refers to. Where did you find the heat map that you imposed on the Washington street map? There are a few things that don't add up regarding its size, shape and heat index that I'd like to investigate in depth.
Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 911reporter (talk • contribs) 18:45, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Image source problem with Image:2007 15 5-day track.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:2007 15 5-day track.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:18, 11 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wiggcentaniinterview.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Wiggcentaniinterview.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:35, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Tag & Assess 2007 is now officially over, with slightly under 68,000 articles processed. The top twenty scores are as follows:
Although the drive is officially closed, existing participants can continue tagging until January 31 if they wish, with the extra tags counting towards their tally for barnstar purposes. We'd like to see what lessons can be learned from this drive, so we've set up a feedback workshop. Comments and feedback from participants and non-participants alike are very welcome and appreciated. | ||

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article Sarego, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 18:15, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

...for your work on the Kirkwood City Council shootings article. I'm a family member of one of the victims, and as a former admin (I don't want to talk about my name here) it's nice to see a thorough and well-done article in Wikipedia for it. Kudos. --24.216.66.19 (talk) 14:24, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
please explain your reverts
You recently reverted one of my edits on Northern Illinois University shooting. The death toll of the incident was increased to six, but most sources still stated that there were five deaths, so I thought that the data on the article was incorrect. I was about the revert the article again until I realized that you were indeed correct. I understand why you reverted my edit, but it is still a good idea to explain your reverts, as long as the edits are not vandalism. Thanks. --Ixfd64 (talk) 02:44, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I removed your recent FAC nom, 1988 Pacific hurricane season since you nominated an article yesterday that hasn't yet gained support. The instructions at WP:FAC say, "Users should not add a second FA nomination until the first has gained support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed." Once your Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots nomination has gained support, you can nominate the hurricanes, or you can opt to withdraw Rise of Nations if you prefer. Jericho map
If I followed the links correctly, you created the ASA/USA map used on Wikipedia. I had a question that I have not found an answer for, and was hoping you could help. We know that there are "21 states west of the Mississippi" in the ASA, but there are a total of 24 states west of the Mississippi. We know Texas is not ASA, but that means that there are still two states west of the Miss. that are not ASA, Many seem to assume that those two are Alaska and Hawaii, but I do not remember the show ever saying that. If either Alaska or Hawaii are in the ASA then one of the red states is wrong. If both Alaska and Hawaii are in the ASA then two of the red states are wrong. My best guess is that Alaska is in the ASA and that Louisiana is not, but I do not remember aver seeing anything official on this question. —MJBurrage(T•C) 23:14, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, good idea for an article. I just have two suggestions. First, I don't think the summaries should be so long, but that's not too big of a deal. However, I think you should include every storm that existed outside of the June 1 to November 30 season. I'd recommend also adding sections for November storms that persisted into November, as well as late May storms that spent much of their duration in June. Just curious, are you going to add tropical depressions, or leave them out? Good luck with the article. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 17:31, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
