Notability

Hi it is regarding this edit. There are two things here contravening Wikipedia guidelines and policies. First, you have to have an article in English Wikipedia to have an entry in a list of notable people per WP:GNG WP:WTAF. Secondly, for a subject having a Wikipedia article, the source should explicitly support the content, in this case "Khatri" caste (see WP:V). The source you used [1] doesn't even mention the person's caste explicitly. Since there is no article titled Karam Singh Uppal, you have to remove the entry. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 20:23, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
