More nonsense
Just so you have a head's up, Dhaluza's continuing his crusade anywhere he can [1] ... Ravenswing 21:02, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- It's a few days old, and dates from before the conclusion of User talk:Headbomb/unreliable. Not sure I would count that as 'continuing'. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:05, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
Predatory sources
Hello. I notice you are detecting and removing predatory sources on various Wikipedia pages [2]. I am wondering how you are doing this? Is this something you programmed for one of your bots? I recently downloaded one of your srcipts that highlights sources in different colors from a link provided in Academic Journals talk. It is the UPSD. I suppose I could use something like Auto Wiki Browser to download sets of pages. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 01:48, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Steve Quinn: Well for the removal itself, it's just like any other edit. If you mean finding out these predatory sources, WP:CITEWATCH+WP:UPSD helps a lot. These particular set of edits came from DOI searches in WP:JCW/Questionable2 through WP:JCW/Questionable6. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 07:10, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
Get any further with |af=?
Was browsing the citation template talk archives and saw your proposal for an |af= parameter for cite book/journal etc. Sounded like a great proposal, did you get any further with it? Has it been implemented in any way? Cheers, Jack (talk) 03:22, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
