@Graham87,

My apologies. The fact I added to both Benny Goodman and Benny Goodman in Moscow comes directly from the record's liner notes. I cited discogs because it includes photos of said liner notes—if I had annotated the reference with something like "Liner Notes back side, see [discogs link]" would this have sufficed, or is discogs generally considered an unreliable source for Wikipedia's standards?

Additionally, can you provide some guidance on the right way to cite something that comes directly from the publication in question? I can upload an image of the liner notes if that would suffice. HeDisconnected (talk) 06:50, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We have {{Template:Cite AV media notes}} for citing liner notes ... I think using that would be enough. The upload to Discogs is technically a copyright violation and we don't like linking to those. Graham87 07:34, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
