April 2012
Please don't add commentary in edits to articles like you did at Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II Canadian procurement. Encyclopedia articles are meant to present reliably cited, verifiable facts about notable subjects; even if somebody opines in a reliable source in a fashion that makes them "an idiot" (quoting your edit summary there), we do not add commentary to the article pointing out how they're "an idiot" unless that commentary has appeared in an independent, reliable source itself; to do otherwise is original research and/or synthesis, both of which are not to be included in Wikipedia articles. Present the facts, just the facts. - The Bushranger One ping only 02:01, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
- I put into that article's talk page my complaint that the suggestion of a retired colonel and failed political candidate that was a direct factual contradiction of his own complaint, was going to be added to the article later that day. I could see that this would happen simply because that is the level of quality of the average content of the article in question. So please yes, go review the article and please remove the half of it which is the commentary by non-notable people that directly contradicts known facts. Thank you.
